Ingredients:
2 meduim size pomfret fish
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tablespoon garam masala paste
5-6 tablespoon oil for frying the fish
1 tsp amchur(dry mango powder)
2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
2 tablespoon tomato puree
Salt to taste.
Method:
1) Clean the fish and cut into halves.
2) Sprinkle salt and turmeric and leave aside for 10 minutes.
3) Heat the oil Iin a non stick frying pan , and fry the fish on both sides till just light brown in color.
4) Remove and keep aside .
5) In the same pan, lower the flame , add ginger – garlic paste.
6) Fry for another minute and then add the spices and the tomato puree.
7) Add salt to taste.
8) Add the fried fish and gently stir and remove to a serving dish.
9) Serve as a starter or with naan and parathas.
